SWEET CARD AND TAG

|I thought I was done posting all of my creations only to discover I forgot these two items.
A sweet tag using an up-cycled greeting card.

This is a card using a vintage image I have in my collection.
I am pretty sure this is the very last of my creations for the season.
See you all in a few weeks.
Thanks for stopping by.

LAST OF MY CHRISTMAS CREATIONS

These are the last of my Christmas creations.
I made this spooly snowman for my Aunt Cindy, my dearest friend.

I am not sure if I am that thrilled with her face but I ruined one thread spool trying to draw a face, I am not good at drawing...

This is an altered frame I created for an ornament swap over at Vintage Dragonfly.
This swap consists of two ornaments.

This is my second ornament.
A spool tree.
The spool is pink, you can't see it very good here.

This is a snippet roll I created for Laurie in our Flicker swap group Vintage Dragonfly.
I have to thank Laurie for the pictures because I forgot to take pics in my haste to get this in the mail to her.

I had a wonderful time creating for all of my swap group partners and family this holiday season.
I will be taking a small break from creating and blogging, besides I do have to find my craft room floor before I can attempt one more thing.
Thanks for stopping by.

MONTHLY TAG SWAP FOR THE CRAFT HOLE

These Christmas tags I created for three different swap partners.
There is a  monthly tag swap over at The Craft Hole face book group.

I do love cute images however,  I don't usually use them in my work.
I thought I would this time around.

This one I love.
Thanks for stopping by.

MY CHRISTMAS BOOK FROM CATHEE

My dear friend Cathee  (visit her Art and Soul) and I decided to do a personal swap, theme Christmas book.
This is the book Cathee gifted me with, wait until you see this....
Cover

Notice the ballerina in the square frame, well this piece fit right inside of the page, awesome touch..

Do you notice the little stockings hung on a string, these can be removed.
Cath knows I love birds and owls.  The last book we swapped was theme, birds!

All of the papers used are so wonderful.

Layers and layers of papers.
Ribbon and tags tucked in every where.

More birds, a pocket full of goodies.

Notice the music sheets go from one page right on over to the other page, I love this!!
Antique postcard, swoon.
You can see the book I created for Cathee here
It is such a pleasure to swap with Cathee and I will look forward to another swap perhaps in the spring we are thinking.
Thanks for stopping by.

ANOTHER "ONE OF A KIND GIFT"

My dear friend Stacey,  came to Vermont for a short visit with her Aunt and family during the Thanksgiving holiday.  We did manage to get a few cups of coffee and a little shopping done together before she headed back home.
She gave me this bird nest, notice the eggs??
She does know me and knows I enjoy these things from nature so much.
I do have a few others she has gifted me with.
Now these nests are ART!!
Thanks for stopping by.

MAINE AND THANKSGIVING

Mr. Nook and I spent our Thanksgiving holiday in our favorite spot, Maine.
This trip we stayed in Kennebunk at The Beach House Inn
After our Thanksgiving meal we headed right for the Inn.
The Inn was so wonderful, check out the link.
On Friday we went to one of Mr. Nook's favorite places to visit,  the Cabellas store.  After shopping and dinner we road thru Kennebunk Port to see what we could see.  It was dark (gets dark early these days, yuck).  We came upon this shop all lit up in Holiday glory, I just had to get out of the car for a closer look.  This dress was in one of the shop windows, after seeing this I knew I just had to visit this shop the very next morning, oh gosh how I hoped it was going to be open....

A picture of the shop before I got out and spotted the dress.

Another window, interesting hah??
Well, the next morning the shop was indeed open.  Let me tell you, I have never, ever been in such a fantastic shop in all of my life.  Here is a link to the shop Face Book page, take a look.
Nothing on the Face Book page compares to seeing this place in person...
I will show you what I purchased on another post.

Here is Mr Nook admiring a vintage jeep, he says he learned to drive on one just like this.

Friday morning at the beach.

Coffee each morning, love this!
We love Maine even in the colder months.
Thanks for stopping by.

CHRISTMAS ALBUM

My friend Cathee contacted me a few weeks ago and asked if I would be interested in swapping a book once again, we did this a year of so ago (see that book here)
The theme we picked is Holiday.
I love to up-cycle used (vintage and otherwise) greeting cards so this album is full of that.
I purchased just a few items at Michael's for the album, the rest is what I already have.
When I saw this clock ornament I just knew it belonged on my book.

I included an antique postcard here.

Some antique trim in an envelope pocket.

There is an image hiding in this antique photo folder.
I hand stamped strips of coffee stained muslin.

Two pockets created on this page full of tags, paper and fun things.

This girl is a cutout from a card, her winter wear is glittered but you can't see that very good.
I love to paint and glitter applique to use in my work.

Envelope with more tags.

A little snow girl dressed for the outdoors.

Snow baby.  She is also glittered.

Thanks for stopping by.

A WINTER WHITE BOOK FOR A BUTTON FLOOZIE

This book is for a swap at Button Floozies
Theme is Winter Whites along with 30 vintage buttons through out.
I hope my Button Floozie swap partner likes it...

A few tags tucked in.

This is the front cover.

I enclosed the rest of the buttons in the organza bag and included a vintage postcard along with a cross pin on the bag.
I don't generally create that many books, this one I really enjoyed.
Thanks for stopping by.
